Flowers of the Sacred Bamboo

A first impression of the Sacred Bamboo (Nandina domestica / Heilige Bamboes) is its bunches of red berries and its foliage that turns into beautiful autumn colours. The bunches of red berries are preceded by tiny white flowers with golden anthers at the tips of branches. The flowers are not as eye-catching as the berries, but on closer inspection they are quite something!
