Dry Christmas Rose florets


Hydrangea macrophylla (Afrikaans: Krismisroos) produces big rounded flower heads that are actually clusters of small florets. The colour (blue to pink) depends on the soil's pH. 

These photos are close-up captures of individual florets taken after the flower heads have dried in their own time.
