Hydrangea macrophylla (Afrikaans: Krismisroos) produces big rounded flower heads that are actually clusters of small florets. The colour (blue to pink) depends on the soil's pH.  These photos are close-up captures of individual florets taken after the flower heads have dried in their own time. The small coastal town of Kleinmond is near enough to Cape Town to make it a popular getaway place.  It is also often used as a breakaway venue for workshops and meetings. It was while attending a workshop that I was able to go to the seaside the early morning and late afternoon to take some photos. There are many verbs that can be used with "music": write, compose, study, teach, practice, make, perform, produce, record, hear, like, criticise, dislike, etc. (One website lists "364 verbs to use for the word music"!) The two verbs that have helped me to better appreciate music, are "play" and "enjoy".
